President’s Day Contest Official Rules


Entry into this Contest constitutes your acceptance of these Official Rules.

Contest Objective: The objective of the Contest is to clearly and correctly recite the names of each president of the United States in chronological order, by memory, in 60 seconds or less in a novel, humorous, or amusing manner.

Contest Dates:

Contest Start Date: Monday, December 2, 2019, at one minute after midnight, mountain time is the date that Contestants may begin to submit Entries
Contest End Date: Thursday, January 30, 2020, at one minute before midnight mountain time, is the last date that Contestants may submit Entries

How to Enter on Facebook:

  1. Record a video of yourself, or your child, reciting the presidents as described above (Make sure the audio and video are of high quality and the video is shot in LANDSCAPE mode).
  2. Upload your video to your Facebook wall and include the sentence: “Hey @LearningRx here’s my Presidents Day Contest video #LearningRxPresidentsDay2020” By the way, this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered, or associated with Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information or the owner of this Facebook page’s information and not to Facebook.
  3. Complete the entry form (click here) and submit to [email protected]
  4. We will send you a confirmation that we have received your entry via direct message.

How to Enter by Email: 

  1. Record a video of yourself, or your child, reciting the presidents as described above (Make sure the audio and video are of high quality and the video is shot in LANDSCAPE mode).

  3. Notify your local LearningRx Center.

All entries must be received between the Contest Start Date and the Contest End Date. “Receipt” of your entry occurs when Sponsor’s servers record the information on your entry form. Each Entry must be the original work of the Contestant and must not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person and must not violate any law.  For example, entries that include copyrighted music not owned by the Contestant will be automatically disqualified.

Who May Enter:

The contest is open to anyone who can provide a valid email address and is able to submit a video of themselves or their child online. Contestants are subject to all notices posted at the Contest web page. Employees and their immediate families or those living in the same household (whether or not related) of LearningRx Franchise Corporation (“Sponsor”), and its franchisees parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers, distributors and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, “Contest Parties”) are not eligible to enter or win.

Judging: All Entries will be judged based on judges’ determination of clarity of speech, memorization, accuracy, speed, novelty, amusement, and humor. The top three scoring Entries will be declared the Winners. Judges’ decisions are final and binding.

Judging Criteria: 

  1. Entries will be judged on accuracy, as well as video quality.
  2. Can we clearly see and hear the contestant reciting the 45 presidents?
  3. Can we tell that the contestant is multitasking and working through distractions?

Ties: In event of a tie for any position, a Winner will be determined based on the judges’ discretion.

Winner Notification: Winners will be determined after the Contest End Date and will be notified by email.

Prizes and Approximate Retail Value: There will be 3 Winners.  The prizes and their approximate retail value are as follows:

First Prize: $100 gift card Approximate retail value: $100
Second Prize: $75 gift card Approximate retail value: $75
Third Prize: $50 gift card Approximate retail value: $50


Sponsor will pay all costs associated with transportation of the prizes. Each winner will be responsible for any and all taxes resulting from receipt of the prize. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Odds of Winning:  The odds of winning will depend on the number of Contestants who enter.

Assignment of Rights: Contestant assigns all right, title and interest to the Entry, including the copyright to the Entry without limitation. Contestant grants his or her permission for Sponsor to use Contestant’s name, images, hometown, likeness, entry, and prize won for future advertising, publicity in any and all media now or later devised throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission.

Cancellation and Changes:  Sponsor reserves the right to reschedule the Contest, Contest Start Date or Contest End Date, modify the entry procedures, cancel the Contest, or cancel the awarding of Prizes.  Prizes are not redeemable for cash.

Ineffective Entry:  Contest Parties are not responsible for anyone’s inability to submit a complete and timely Entry for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • lost, late, misdirected, damaged, stolen, altered, garbled, incorrect, incomplete or delayed submissions;
  • malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer online systems, servers, computer hardware, software, phone lines, or congestion on the internet or the Contest web page;
  • errors or malfunctions that may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, the processing or judging of Entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Contest-related materials.

Identity of the Contestant:  The Contestant is the person whose name is listed in the entry form.

Disqualification of Contestant:  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual (and void his/her Entry) if Sponsor finds that person:

  • tampering with the Entry process or the operation of this Contest or its website;
  • doing anything with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other Contestant or the Contest Parties; or
  • violating any of these rules.

Disqualification of Winner:  Sponsor may disqualify a Winner for any of the following reasons: if charged with or convicted of a felony or misdemeanor; ineligibility under these Official Rules; or found to be making false statements to Sponsor. The Entry with the next highest score may then be declared the alternate Winner.

 Laws and Arbitration: The Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. As a condition of participating in this Contest, Contestant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action lawsuit, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held at the AAA regional office nearest the Contestant; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act will govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at that arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will Contestant be permitted to obtain awards for, and contestant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, multiple damage awards, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, other than contestant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses associated with entering this Contest. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Contestants and Sponsor in connection with this Contest, will be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Colorado, USA without regard to Colorado’s choice of law rules.
